Sliced Potato Foil Packets
A buttery, cheesy delight that’s easy to add to any camp-out meal, and the foil packet means less clean-up. Add your own favorite toppings or keep it simple—they’re tasty either way.
Equipment
- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups shredded cheese
Ingredients
- Double a large piece of heavy duty aluminum foil to make a packet or tear off two sheets and layer them. Spray with cooking spray.
- Place sliced potato and ¼ of sliced onion in each packet.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Top with shredded cheese and butter.
- Place on grill over flame for 20 to 30 minutes or until potatoes are soft.
