Hi Lori! Great question. The ballot takes into account what you choose throughout the 24-hour window. There is no need to submit because it counts nominations as they come in (or are voted for). Thanks!
When are results announced?
Hi David! Thanks for the question. The results should be announced sometime next week. The voting round won’t start until September 21 to give us time to notify the businesses who are moving on, to give businesses time to promote themselves on social media, and to give us time to create the final voting ballot.

This is Justin Lung and it has me listed as WBOY 12 News but I am no longer with them. It’s been a few years and I started my own social media platform called “Weather with Justin Lung”. I made it as a finalist but it’s for the work I did with my platform. I used to work at WBOY and WDTV news. I do weather updates, storm chase, videos, podcasts. Since I worked at WBOY, I don’t know if that should be changed or not.

How can a non-profit museum be added to the best of list for next year? We will be opening the Snow Sports Museum/ Snow Sports Hall of Fame of West Virginia this November in Davis. We are just over 2 years old as a non profit and have been able to now lease a location. We are excited about it and would love to be considered in the future. Thank you

I think Holistic Inc. in St. Albans, ran by Dr. Shawn Blankenship, which is an EXCELLENT recovery clinic, should definitely win. They are dedicated to helping those who want help with their addictions no matter what they are and they have definitely helped to save my life. I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
