Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.
Loretta White
ER Clinical Director
Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston
A nurse for 28 years, White got into nursing because of her love for teaching and service, and she gets the best of both worlds from her post in the ER. She’s been on the frontlines during the pandemic and was even the “lucky” first nurse in the state to receive the vaccine. Harry Bell says that White and her colleagues have handled patients with care, compassion, and a high level of skill worthy of all the gratitude we can muster.
