Urgent care clinics have been frontline providers through the pandemic. As medical director of multiple WVU urgent care and student clinics, Dr. Carmen Burrell has led her staff and the community in getting COVID-19 tests and vaccinations, says her colleague Benjamin Silverberg. “She has worked tirelessly since the start of the pandemic to provide good care and support services and also to maintain the morale of her team.”
