Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

Puette has picked up extra shifts for the past year to ensure that critical patients were cared for in a safe and efficient way, Carol Garrison explained in her nomination. “Jeff is a dedicated anesthesiologist who worked tirelessly through the COVID-19 pandemic, including overtime,” nominator LaVeda Lacore wrote. “He selflessly subjects himself to high risk of COVID-19 transmission as he establishes airways in his patients.”
