For this Wild & Wonderful Getaway Giveaway you can enter to win a cozy holiday weekend courtesy of the Hampshire County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
From October 27 through November 16, 2026, you can enter to win by completing the form below. There’s something about Christmas in a small Appalachian town that feels a little different. Maybe it’s Main Street dressed for the season. Maybe it’s breakfast at the family-owned diner before the parade, coffee warming your hands as you browse the shops, or the glow of Christmas lights after dark. Maybe it’s climbing aboard a train bound for the North Pole.
Whatever it is, Hampshire County still knows how to slow the season down.

Your holiday weekend will be based in Romney, where you’ll be close to the train, downtown shops, restaurants, and Christmas in Romney festivities.
You’ll visit during Christmas in Romney weekend, when downtown comes alive with holiday events and traditions, including the annual Christmas in Romney Parade at noon on Saturday, December 12. Additional holiday happenings will be announced as the weekend approaches.
Think twinkling lights, unique shops, homemade treats, warm meals, handmade gifts, and the kind of holiday weekend that feels a little like Christmas used to.
Complete the form below to enter to win
Please note: This getaway is tied to the December 11–13 holiday weekend. Entrants should be available to travel on those dates. If the selected winner is unavailable, another winner will be chosen.
