It’s time to go gnome hunting in Fayetteville.

Every November, Fayetteville gets a little more magical as hundreds of gnomes pop up across town for Gnomevember, a month-long scavenger hunt that turns an ordinary stroll into an adventure. November 1–30, visitors can pick up a tracking sheet at the Fayetteville Visitor Center and search for hidden gnomes tucked inside shops, restaurants, and unexpected corners of town. Find them all, return your completed sheet, and you’ll earn a small prize.
For those looking for an extra challenge, Gibly’s Gnome Quest adds a story-driven twist. Follow clues through Fayetteville’s historic landmarks and local businesses as you help the adventurous gnome Gibly recover the legendary Heart of the Hills. Along the way, keep an eye out for bonus gnomes that appear throughout the month, offering surprise prizes and special treats.
What makes Gnomevember so fitting is the town of Fayetteville itself. The town loves to embrace its reputation for being delightfully quirky, with local gnome artisans, Appalachian folklore, and forested surroundings creating the perfect backdrop for a little whimsy. Follow the Facebook page for clue drops and event updates, and stay alert through the end of the month—one lucky hunter may discover the grand prize gnome before anyone else.
