Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

Michael Taylor has cared for residents of the Summersville region since he joined the Rural Health Clinic in 2007. He wanted to be a doctor when he was 3 years old and says he loves it today just as much as he expected to back then. The challenges of medicine keep him sharp, he says. “And I really like the personal touch, talking to my patients, interacting with them—there’s nothing like it, and it’s part of why I love coming to work every day.”
