Horseradish Sweet Pickles
That average jar of dill pickles in your shopping cart can take on a whole new life with a little sugar, vinegar, and horseradish. Sweet and crispy with a delightful kick, they’ll be your new favorite way to eat pickles.
Ingredients
- 1 jar dill pickle slices drained
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- 1 8- ounce jar pure horseradish
Instructions
- Add sugar, vinegar, and horseradish to jar with pickles.
- Replace lid and shake to mix ingredients. Refrigerate.
- Shake pickle mix every other day. They’ll be ready to eat in three weeks.
- Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
NOTE: You may need to look in the refrigerated section of the grocery store for horseradish—the highest quality is kept cold.
