Blackwater Falls State Park

Voted best state park/nature attraction in west Virginia in 2021

This park’s 57-foot waterfalls are something that must be seen to be believed. Nestled between rocky cliffs and scenic mountains with convenient viewing platforms to help everyone get a perfect view, the waterfalls are a sight to behold. After catching a glimpse and snapping photos of the vista, head out to the park’s 20 miles of hiking trails, take a slide down the longest sled run in the East or cozy up at the lodge.
