Head to The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs on April 28–29 for the WVU Cancer Institute’s signature benefit. The annual Spring Gala boasts a guest list that is a veritable who’s who across the Mountain State. Leaders, changemakers, and supporters from across West Virginia celebrate the Institute with special sessions, auctions, stunning receptions, and a captivating dinner dance.
The WVU Cancer Institute Spring Gala is steeped in nearly 40 years of history, having launched before the first spade of dirt was turned to build the WVU Cancer Institute we know and love today. In 1985, a special group converged to establish one of the Institute’s signature philanthropic events. The event has grown since then and has played host to many notable supporters, including an impressive list of celebrity guests. Generations of families found a love for the cause as the years progressed, becoming passionate and dedicated supporters.
Funds raised have allowed the WVU Cancer Institute to pursue its mission of lessening the cancer burden in and around West Virginia. This year, we pay homage to the rich history of the Spring Gala, its patrons, and the origins of the Cancer Institute, all while celebrating the bright future ahead. Tickets and sponsorships for the Spring Gala are in high demand. Guests are asked to RSVP no later than April 7.
