Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

Sherry Johnson was nominated by her boss, Peter Wentzel, who says she’s worked tirelessly to keep clinics going and staff safe while meeting patients’ needs in the face of an ever-changing pandemic. “I try my best to make sure that our patients can access whatever resources are available,” she says. “I feel like I know them. I feel like they’re my family and I need to take care of them.”
