Red and Green Cabbage Coleslaw
Whether you serve it as a side or on top of a fresh BBQ sandwich, coleslaw is always a good choice.
Ingredients
- ½ head green cabbage finely shredded
- ½ head red cabbage finely shredded
- 2 large carrots finely shredded
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ½ teaspoon celery seed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine the red and green cabbage and carrots in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and some salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Add to the cabbage mixture. Mix well to combine.
- Taste for seasoning; adjust with more salt, pepper, or sugar as needed.
