Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

Caring for some of the worst COVID-19 cases has made for an emotionally and physically exhausting year for Lindsay Hedrick, says Jennifer Moore in her nomination. “She’s stayed strong, tirelessly working for her patients, and always with a smile.” It comes from a place of caring about the well-being of others, says Hedrick. “It’s very challenging and sometimes very emotional, but we come to work and give all we have to our patients so that they can be with their families again.”
