Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

for Internal Medicine
WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown
After years practicing with an outpatient focus on women’s health, Laura Davisson pursued her interest in public health into the field of obesity medicine in 2015. She’s also highly active in resident and student teaching. As a voice of reason on Facebook during the pandemic, she’s been appreciated. “Dr. Davisson has given so much support and care to her fellow humans throughout the pandemic,” wrote nominator Taryn Kilbert—providing reassurance, dispelling myths, and telling the truth at all times.
