Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

Justin Hannigan took a summer job with the ambulance crew his mother was on and enjoyed it so much he stuck with it. “There are a lot of things to like about it—it’s very fulfilling,” he says. He’s assisted with the deliveries of four babies in his eight years as an EMT. “Justin goes above and beyond every day for his patients,” wrote his anonymous nominator. “He is truly an inspiration to his profession and someone who we should all aspire to be.”
