Jay Sine works as a nurse to make a difference—by providing care, changing policy, or educating patients and their families—and to set an example for her children. “I remember having a child in the emergency room who wanted to take a picture with me after his care,” she says. “A few years later he was back again, and his mom said, ‘I remember you—look, you are on my phone!’ It was so sweet. I love being the comfort needed in difficult times.”
