The Corsi Group may be headquartered in Indiana, but its mantra extends to its presence in Elkins.
IN 1973, PAT CORSI FOUNDED THE CORSI GROUP in Indianapolis, Indiana, creating a small custom cabinet company that quickly grew in size and reputation. Word of the company’s service and quality spread, and its cabinets found homes across the region.
As The Corsi Group grew, so did its need for space. The search began in 1990 as the team sought the perfect location, and, by 2000, they had found it. “I grabbed my atlas and looked at the surrounding areas, and West Virginia was next door. The first time I drove up 11th Street in Elkins, I saw a beautiful piece of flat land and felt right at home,” says Corsi, founder and former CEO. From this decision came the 50,350-square-foot facility in Elkins that is assisting the Indianapolis headquarters in manufacturing Corsi’s cabinet brands—Greenfield Cabinetry and Siteline Cabinetry—right out of the Mountain State.
In 2021, the Elkins facility underwent major improvements, including a new automated finishing system and other automated machines. The most impressive feat? Not a single Elkins employee was lost to the advancements—more were hired.
“I’ve found that people who have a strong association with family and with nature make a good workforce,” says Corsi. “They have a connection to the land, their community, and their family. And I’ve found all of that in Randolph County.”
