Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.
Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison
After 20 years as an ER nurse, Becky Bannister took the position of Infection Preventionist in her hospital. A few months later, COVID-19 hit. “She met the unprecedented challenge with grace, strength, and perseverance,” says her daughter, Grace Bannister. But I feel like I’m helping make sure that patients are cared for properly and making a difference in their outcomes.”
