Baked BBQ Chicken
Three ingredients + two dishes = sticky, smoky BBQ chicken in an hour. Can we come over for dinner?
Ingredients
- 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 8 drumsticks
- 1 cup Tarbilly BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425º.
- Place the chicken in a bowl and pour ½ cup of BBQ sauce over top. Mix to combine, then set aside while oven heats. Or marinate in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Place the chicken on the baking sheet skin side down, retaining the sauce it marinated in. Bake for 25 minutes.
- Flip the chicken over and baste the top with the BBQ sauce that was in the marinating bowl. Return to the oven and bake for another 25 minutes.
- Turn oven to broil. Baste the top of the chicken with additional BBQ sauce and broil 3 to 5 minutes until top is dark and caramelized. Remove the chicken sooner if it starts to get too dark.
