Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

Anita Stewart has become the point person for all things COVID-19 in Fayette County, and she’s proven she’s in the right job. Jerry Allen is the chairman of the Fayette County Health Department Board of Directors, and he nominated Stewart for her work with testing, scheduling, vaccine rollout, and so much more, all while working seven days a week for a year and barely breaking a sweat. “These are my people,” Stewart says. “And I just love taking care of them.”
