A creative Porch Parade is a highlight of FestivALL this year, and it’s happening now.
If you find yourself in Charleston during the next few days—until June 26, to be exact—take a drive down Quarrier Street. Along the 1400 and 1500 blocks of the main residential thoroughfare on the capital city’s East End, you’ll find the creative expressions of local artists commissioned to create porch “floats” to commemorate FestiveALL 2022.
Drive or walk down Quarrier to appreciate the works of local artists Ali Braenovich, Melissa Doty, Wes Eary, Robby Moore, Jeff Pierson, Vasilia Scouras, Brianna Taft, and Nichole Westfall. Find a map of the Porch Parade route here.
FestivALL is a 15-day celebration of the arts held twice each year in Charleston that includes hundreds of art-related events held all over the city for free or at low cost. This is the 18th year of the festival.
