Technicians who deliver home health equipment, physical therapists who get patients back on their feet, pharmacists and nurses and doctors and all of the administrators who make their jobs possible—living through a pandemic has given the staff of WV Living a fresh appreciation for the many thousands of people across the state who dedicate their days to keeping all of us healthy.

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg
Darcy Conner loves family medicine. “I take care of newborns, and my oldest
patient is 94,” she says. “Some people I took care of in elementary school are having
children now. To watch them grow up into amazing people, there’s nothing like
it.” Being a fitness coach helps her medical practice. “I see the end product of
unhealthy lifestyle choices. Knowing more about nutrition and exercise, I can
guide my patients away from needing so many medicines later in life.”
