Kirkwood Winery & Isaiah Morgan Distillery
Kirkwood Winery & Isaiah Morgan Distillery is the smallest licensed distillery in the United States. But that’s nothing to whine about. The winery produces 39 truly Appalachian wines— like Appalachian Ramp, which is great for cooking, plus Dandelion, Swiss Chard Rhubarb, and Ginseng. Harvests from the winery’s blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry field yield more than 4,000 gallons of wine annually, from which Kirkwood Winery produces its French-American hybrid varietal, mead, vegetable, and fruit wines. 45 Winery Road, Summersville, 304.872.7332, kirkwood-wine.com, @kirkwoodwinerywv on Facebook
