Mario’s Fishbowl
Mario’s Fishbowl has been Morgantown’s goto watering hole for more than five decades. The walls of the original Mario’s Fishbowl on Richwood Avenue are covered with fifty years of signs proclaiming eating and drinking records, including how fast one can down a Fishbowl. The signature Fishbowl was born in 1963 when then-owners Rose and Mario Spina started serving brews out of antique Weiss goblets from what was once Morgantown Glass Works on Beechurst Avenue. 704 Richwood Avenue, Morgantown, 304.292.2511; 3117 University Avenue, Morgantown, 304.599.4309; 388 Fairmont Road, Westover, 304.212.5378; mariosfishbowl.com, @mariosfishbowl, @mariosfishbowlsuncrest, and @mariosfishbowlwestover on Facebook
