With the help of her daughters and her background in science and environmentalism, Stephanie Warino created 310 Soap Co. in 2020. The business was born from her desire to produce simple, sustainable, and luxurious soaps and other skincare solutions.
“We design our soap and skincare products to be as close to nature as possible, to be of high value and quality, and to be an immersive experience for all your senses,” she says. Warino keeps the batches they produce small to ensure the quality is high using very traditional methods. “Not so long ago, people used what they had available regionally—they had to. We do this, and it keeps our environmental impact low. We try every day to honor that,” she says. By skipping the harsh chemicals and preservatives that can be found in other skincare products, Warino gets to use superior ingredients in her soap while supporting other local businesses.
310 Soap Co. sets up at a couple markets per month, where she connects with customers directly. “I love getting out, seeing our state, and meeting people alongside other amazing artisans.” Warino also has a passion for creating custom orders for events such as weddings and conferences.
Customers praise the business for its skin-friendly and kid-friendly products that smell great and look beautiful. Warino is often told that the soaps she makes at 310 Soap Co. are too pretty to use, but there’s something she wants people to know: “You deserve to use the good soap! It’s better for you.”
